What it is
We protect your gums, apply a professional whitening gel and let it work in short cycles during a single visit of about 90 minutes.
Whitening works on natural enamel. It won’t change the colour of fillings, crowns or veneers, so we check for these first and talk you through what to expect.
Who it’s for
- Yellowing from tea, coffee, tobacco or age
- Healthy teeth and gums (we treat decay or gum problems first)
- Adults; we don’t recommend whitening during pregnancy

What happens
Shade check
We record your current shade and check your teeth and gums are healthy.
Protection

Whitening cycles
The gel works in short cycles, with checks in between.
Sensitivity care
A soothing treatment to reduce sensitivity afterwards.

Questions
Good to know
Is whitening bad for my teeth?
Professional whitening, done with gum protection and the right gel strength, is considered safe for enamel. Temporary sensitivity is the most common side effect.
How long do the results last?
Typically from several months to a couple of years, depending on how much tea, coffee and tobacco you have. Take-home trays make top-ups easy.
